Tea tree oil

Tea tree oil has anti-viral and anti-fungal properties meaning they can aid a variety of skincare issues. Use it on skin to help with excess oil that clog pores and cause blemishes. I find it especially useful on blemishes. It works like benzyl peroxide without over drying the skin. You may use it for skin conditions like ringworm or tinea versi color also known as sun spots. You can buy tea tree oil in health stores and some drug stores. I found mine in CVS. Remember to be cautious with anything you use topically. Be curious and do your research.

Product review: cleansing oil by Amorepacific

I got to try the treatment cleansing oil by Amorepacfic. I'm a fan of their facial mist and now I'm a fan of this. It's for use on eyes and face. On the bottle it says it removes impurities, and I must day it absolutely does. I have blackheads on my nose and there aren't a lot of products out there that do what they say. This cleansing oil removed the congestion on my nose so effortlessly. To use this oil start with a dry face. Massage the oil into the skin, and around eyes. Once your face is saturated with  the oil, you can now rinse with water. It left my skin soft, clean, and all my makeup came off. I recommend this cleanser for anyone really. It will especially benefit people who want to cleanse, unclog, and soften their skin in a gentle way.

Top five pore clogging ingredients

There are so much unnecessary things in our skincare products. A lot of products will often say "non-comedogenic". This means it will not clog your pores, or at least they want you to believe so. These 5 ingredients listed below have a high chance of clogging your pores and causing blemishes. I hate clogged pores, also known as congestion, acne, pimples, comedones, whiteheads, blackheads, whatever it is. I don't want any of it on my skin. Remember you have to understand your skin in order to know what works and what doesn't. Everyone has different skin so be patient and learn your skin. Don't be afraid to do your own research and seek the input of knowledgable people.

DIY face mist full of antioxidants

Buying face mists can get pricey. Try making your own at home using things you already have in your kitchen. Making face mists is pretty simple. All you have to do is steep some water and add a some green tea. When the green tea is fully infused with the water. Add the green tea in a spray bottle. Let it cool and then it's ready for use. Use it prior to your skincare routine, to set your makeup, or mist your face anytime you want.

Making peace with your decisions

There's plenty of times when I make decisions that I'm not sure of. The constant going back and fourth about if I made the right decision or not disturbs my peace. This happens plenty. At work, school, home, everyday interactions. After making a decision about something I'm haunted by the possibilities of what if I had did this instead of that. Or if I had said this it would've made a bigger impact. I wouldn't let go of particular decisions for quite sometime. An annoying amount of time. When what I wish I was doing was leaving my decisions behind when I make them. So I started to realize how obsessed I was with making the "right" decision that it hit me, what's done is done, and it cannot be undone. This is so simple but so difficult to remember. I asked myself what if I just let it be. Taking on that attitude of just letting it be changed my perspective immediately. I was calm. I adopted the saying; things happen for a reason and believed it. I was able to just move on. I felt peace and no longer anxiety. Moving on opens so much more possibilities than questioning yourself about things that cannot be undone.

Glamglow: Youthmud

Today I used the youthmud from glamglow for the first time. Immediate cooling and tightening feeling. I applied it after I cleansed my face and left it on for 10 minutes. My pores on my nose are smaller and my skin did appear brighter just after one use. Was it amazing? ehhh. I'm not crazy about it.

Chloroplasma by Perricone MD

Chloroplasma by Perricone MD
Chloroplasma by Perricone MD is the mask I use most. During the warmer months my skin is a combination skin type. When its hot out my skin is oily in my T-zone, and normal else where. The pores in my nose get congested. I also have some dark spots on my cheeks that need brightening. This mask helps with clearing and tightening up my pores. My skin looks radiant after using this mask. I apply a thin layer on clean skin and leave on for 5-10 minutes, then remove with warm towel.
